John Connell from NearFM speaks with Maynooth-born poet John Doyle about his own method of composing poetry. John has had six poetry books published since 2015. He reads out seven poems from his published work. These poems are, –  Man of the Hinterlands; The Fox; Buckowski Reads On Sunday Miscellany; Saturday Night Sunday Morning; Knight Rider; Slacking Off In The Warehouse, Summer 2005; Box Cars With Burlington Northern Written On Them;. John Doyle now lives in Donnycarney.
