This Sporting Life is an upbeat and lively series of short documentaries which capture the excitement and dedication of minority sports people and encourages others to join in. Each programme serves as an introduction to a different minority sport practiced in Northside Dublin.

15. Women’s Cricket

Cricket is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and fantastic victories in the world cup over Pakistan and England in recent times have meant that interest in the game is at an all time high. The Irish Women’s cricket team are ranked at number 10 in the world which is a fantastic achievement based on the relatively small pool of players that are available.
