In this programme, Celine Quinn and David O’Brien present some highlights from the Roundtable on Migration, Rights and Social and Economic Development, held on Friday January 11th 2013 at EU Parliament House.

At the event, many organisations concerned with migration issues gathered together with the purpose of fostering productive dialogue on the theme of rights of migrant workers and their families, within the broader context of economic and social development.

The aim of the Roundtable was to provide a basis for further action and work in the context of the Irish Presidency of the EU and in the lead up to the UN High Level Dialogue on Migration and Development in 2013.
