Dublin Punk Untold examines the role Ireland’s capital city played in the punk era. Inspired by the Hope Collective’s Great Gig Memories book, producer and broadcaster Neil Farrelly has spent the past year and a half examining archives and interviewing the people who created Ireland’s punk scene.
In episode 3 – We were powerful, we hear about 2 much loved punk bands from Dublin: Chant!Chant!ChanT and DC Nien, the Downtown Kampus in Cork, the infamous Dark Spaces gig in the Project Arts Centre and we hear what punk meant to the generation who participated in the first wave.
