This is the seventeenth show of Culture Shots, part of a series of 13 programmes examining the meaning of culture and promoting intercultural understanding.

Today’s programme is dedicated to World AIDS Day, which just passed on December 1st. The affects of HIV/AIDS are felt internationally across all countries and cultures. dance4life is a growing worldwide movement, led by nearly half a million young people, to riase awareness about HIV/AIDS while combating stigma.

On today’s programme, Marie Lall presents and Shannette Budhai speaks to Anita Ghafoor of the Irish Family Planning Association about the dance4life and skills4life programmes. Later Grace Wilentz speaks to Sebastian Hecht of dance4life Germany.
