Interview on Plastic Pollution with Eileen O’Malley

Permanent signage now in place at Spanish Point and Whitestrand Miltown Malbay beaches in west Clare hopes to rid the beaches of the scourge of plastic litter. The stone signs ask beachgoers to take away three pieces of plastic each time they visit the beach. Sabrina Ryan spoke to Eileen OMalley, a campaigner based in Co. Clare who is trying to raise awareness of the overuse of plastic and how we can all contribute to reduce plastic use.
