Burma Action Ireland hosted a public meeting in the Irish Aid Volunteer Centre in O’Connell Street on 26th of June to highlight the plight of the Rohingya people of Burma. Haikel Mansor is studying medicine in Galway University and was first to speak, followed by Norwegian based Khairul Amin who is chairperson of European Rohingya Council.
