One of the activities of the European Parliament Office in Ireland is to raise awareness of the European policy processes. This year, The communicating Europe Competition organised by the representation of the European Parliament in Ireland asked Third Level students to produce a report on one of the complex issues being debated at European level using a language and concepts that would be understandable to the general public. Aaron McNicholas, Gareth Gregan and Sally Hayden were some of the young people involved in the exercise, and they visited the nearfm studios to tell us about their experience.
