In this programme Malika Iskander and Luis Leindecker explore representations of the Libyan Civil War through two distinctive media projects. First, Luis speaks to director Paco Torres about his short film, “The Rattle of Benghazi” and Malika Iskander talks to Ela Buisir, an Irish born Libyan who went to Libya to document the Civil War through her photographs.
With music from Astrud Gilberto, along with João Gilberto and Stan Getz.
This series is a part of the Intercultural Dialogue through Community Media project, which is co-financed by the European Commission under the European Integration Fund and is supported by the Office for the Promotion of Migrant Integration in the Department of Justice and Equality and Pobal.
