In this episode, Orlane is joined by Anna Galligan, a seasoned arts professional with nearly 40 years of experience as an actress, drama facilitator, theatre director, performing arts teacher and lecturer.

Anna first appeared on the show nine months ago in Episode 8, where she shared her knowledge of theatre jargon. This time, she takes us deeper into the world of actors and the specific language they use.

She teaches at Carlow Institute of Further Education and Training and lectures on creativity and performance. Her passion for theatre history and terminology makes her an engaging and insightful guest.

Listen to discover why she believes “the whole world is inside each and every one of us” — and why “emoting” is not the same as acting.
