This week on Life Unfiltered Maria McHale talked to Marcel Lindsay –  IT professional turned artist, late bloomer and living proof that the best chapter of your life might be one you haven’t started yet!

Marcel first picked up a paintbrush at 50 and is best known for his vibrant seascapes and coastal landscapes that capture the mood, light and colour of Ireland’s shoreline. Born in Dublin, Lindsay began painting relatively late, taking up art seriously around 2018 after a holiday to West Cork inspired him to explore Ireland’s dramatic coastal scenery. He describes his painting as a hobby “that has gotten a little bit out of control”. It turns out you are never too late to try something new!
