This show is about the Irish Road Movie. Taking a look back at three Irish films – I Went Down (1997), Accelerator (2000) and Disco Pigs (2001), we’ll take a journey through the idiosyncratic Irish approach to the great film genre known as the Road Movie. In archetypal terms, road movies are about one or more character taking a journey in search of adventure, redemption or to escape  their everyday life. Often, they are on the run or runaways, rebel characters in search of something. This episode explores the music and stories of these films.
