Michael Connaughton is a poet and a creative presence living in Howth Village.

Michael is very active in the literary culture of North Dublin. Michael is a go-to person in the community network of writers and artists that look for an outlet for their work in the many poetry readings, art exhibitions and self publishing projects that Michael has pioneered throughout the years  .

John Connell asked Michael to talk about his creative way of painting watercolours, both abstract and still life.

He also plays piano and in this podcast showcases three original piano pieces as well as reciting some of his poetry.
