The Arts Show: Karen Meenan Interviews the author of ‘Leonard and Hungry Paul’ – Ronan Hession

Leonard and Hungry Paul is a debut novel by local writer Rónán Hession which has already been nominated for seven book awards and is about to be published in the USA. This gentle book celebrates the lives of Leonard and Hungry Paul who meet every Sunday night to play board games. Beautifully written with carefully drawn characters, Hession celebrates the lives of introverts, quietly and without much fuss. A delight for everyone who just wants to live a normal life. He is working on his second novel which should be in book shops by summer 2021.
