Special Olympics with Kim Crave (Special Olympics Ireland)

  • Having previously hosted one the most successful Summer Special Olympics games, the Irish Special Olympics team of 2019 are getting ready for this year’s games in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Michael Sullivan spoke to Kim McCrave from Special Olympics Ireland and began by asking her if the excitement had reached fever pitch yet.

  • As the issue of pay for artists at the Abbey Theatre, our National Theatre, continues to rumble on Adrianne Murphy was joined by award winning playwright Jimmy Murphy to discuss this issue. Adrianne began by asking him to explain the background to this dispute.

Young People and Cancer with Evelyn Griffin (CanTeen)

  • CanTeen is a support group for young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years who have or have had cancer. Evelyn Griffin from CanTeen Ireland spoke to Betty McGuone and Sonia Moloney from Phoenix FM about the organisation.
