Everybody has the right to live independently in line with their choice. For many adults living with a disability, the lack of practical and financial support to enable them to live independently is significant barrier to social inclusion and independence. Near FM’s Debbie McMahon spoke to James Cawley policy officer with Independent Living about the new guide to the law in Relation to Disability. Debbie began by asking James what are the core principals of Independent Living.
