Have you ever thought about how difficult it is for wheelchair users to navigate footpaths and public walkways. Elaine Morrissey, whose 4 year old daughter is a wheelchair user, told Athlone Community radio’s Irena Cvetkovic of the difficulties she encounters on a daily basis. Irena was joined in the studio by John Tynan and Tony Broderick of Athlone Access Awareness. Irena began by asking Elaine to explain her situation.
