In the aftermath of his departure from Sinn Féin, which was prompted by his opposition to the repeal of the eight amendment, the Meath West T.D. Peadar Tóibín made clear his intention to establish a new political party. Here he speaks to Dundalk FM’s Philip O’Brien about setting up this new party. Philip began by asking him about cutting his ties to his former political colleagues.
