Knockanstockan takes place in late July every year on the shores of the Blessington Lakes in Co. Wicklow and is one of Ireland’s biggest and most musician friendly Independent music festivals. They discuss the genesis and the growth of the festival from it’s first year in 2007 up until now, the ethos and the values of the festival runners, an explicit guide on how a band can apply to play at Knockanstockan and much much more.
