If you love Dublin Bay, listen to this interview where Richard Nairn, writer and ecologist, talks to Noel McGuinness about the book “Dublin Bay – Nature and History” written by himself, David Jeffrey and Rob Goodbody. Richard says that the book details the development of the bay from the Vikings in the 9th Century to the present day. The book, which is published by Collins Press, looks at both the history and ecology of Dublin Bay and contains many interesting facts, just one of which is the real story of Molly Malone’s cockles and mussels. Richard Collins will be giving a talk and slide show based on the book at 8pm on Friday 9th March in Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club.
