Shay Barker, Senior Executive Officer for Balbriggan & Swords Operations, Fingal County Council, talks to Noel McGuinness about the results of the recent IBAL litter survey. He says that Balbriggan and the environs of Dublin Airport were among the Top 10 cleanest towns in the Irish Business Against Litter’s survey. Both were classified as being “Cleaner than European Norms”, the highest category that can be achieved. Shay explains that the Fingal Operations Department is committed to keeping the towns and villages in Fingal clean and they are delighted with the successes this year.
