Joe Mooney, Historian talks to John about the anniversaries of the last voyage of the convict ship “The Hougoumont” from Britain to Australia in 1876 and on the 12th of October 1917 the first ship of the famous Guinness Fleet was torpedoed by a German U-boat with the loss of five of it’s crew members.
