This is the second show of Culture Shots, a 13 week series dedicated to promoting intercultural understanding.

This programme focuses on links between LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender/transsexual) culture, Traveller Culture and intercultural relationships. Martin Warde interviews Oein DeBhairduin of LGBT Pavee, delving into questions of identity, labels, and what it means to be “a minority within a minority.”

Evans Shirihuru speaks with Marriage Equality board member Orla Howard about how Irish legislation impacts the human rights of intercultural LGBT couples, particularly their right to freedom of movement. Presenter Irenia Alvarez plays LGBT anthems from Latin America, bringing to life the stories behind the songs.

This series is a part of the Intercultural Dialogue through Community Media project, which is co-financed by the European Commission under the European Integration Fund and is supported by the Office for the Promotion of Migrant Integration in the Department of Justice and Equality and Pobal.
