As Dublin prepares for the arrival of judges who will decide whether Ireland’s fair city will be put on the shortlist as host city for European Capital of Culture in 2020, the Dublin2020 team have released a special video to celebrate the city through words, images and animation.
Dublin You Are, is based around the words of poet Stephen James Smith and features illustrations byAoife Dooley, best known for her witty strip, the ‘Dublin Hun’.
Iseult talks about the poem, its origins, the idea behind it and also talks about the Dublin Capital of Culture 2020 campaign.
