Ozgecan Kesici was born and raised in Munich, Germany, and has being living in Dublin for three years now. She came to Ireland to pursue a PhD in sociology, which looks at national identities. Her poetry deals with the history of migration, which has marked her personal family history for three generations now, the role of women in different traditions and acceptance.
