As part of the Northside Football 2 series Near FM broadcast live coverage of the Academy Cup from the home of St Kevin’s Boys in Santry/Whitehall.

The St Kevin’s Boys Club Academy Cup Tournament, now in its 7th year, is an elite tournament for Under players, featuring the cream of European Club football including Benfica, Deportivo La Coruna, Arsenal F C , Celtic F C, West Bromwich Albion F C, and the host Club’s under 13 Premier team.

The first game of the broadcast was St Kevin’s Boys versus Benfica. We include the full match commentary (25 minutes aside), half time analysis with Kevin’s coach Wayne Groves and full time reaction with Kevin’s manager Gareth Dodderill.
