Aedín McLoughlin of Good Energies Alliance Ireland talks to Noel McGuinness on Northside Today about some developments regarding fracking in Northern Ireland.  She says that things are moving fast in Co. Antrim, both near the Giant’s Causeway and near one of the Belfast water reservoirs.  She also mentions that recently New York State banned fracking after in-depth research because of its health impacts and also Scotland has declared a moratorium on the same grounds until more research and public consultation is carried out.  Good Energies Alliance Ireland calls for a similar prohibition of fracking in Northern Ireland.
