St John of Gods Girls School in Kilmore recently celebrated becoming a ‘Green School’. Their challenge was to become environmentally friendly and in doing so, were awarded a Green Flag. Paula Wiseman went over to the school to meet some of the girls, Ellen, Sophie and Dominika and also the Green School Coordinator, Eleanor Dalton. There was also a special guest on the day, Jay Boland who was a contestant on “The Voice of Ireland”. He was there to sing for the girls and raise the flag.
