Northside Partnership and Groundwork Northern Ireland hosted the Developing a Positive Future conference on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th November 2013. The conference marked the conclusion of the Connect 4 programme which has worked since 2011 to create meaningful and sustainable cross-border partnerships between communities in north Dublin and north Belfast. The conference brought together the four central themes of the Connect 4 program, namely, Regeneration, Community Activism, Community Safety and Youth Engagement. It concluded with a key note speech from An Tánaiste, Eamon Gilmore TD, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, the first one you will hear on the piece.
