Joanne Lindsay Martin of the Peter McVerry Trust talks to Noel McGuinness on Northside2Day about their fundraising walk – the Long Walk Home – which will take place over the May Bank Holiday weekend.  This “Grand Canal Challenge” involves participants walking 80 Km across Ireland from Shannon Harbour to Dublin along the banks of the Grand Canal – all in aid of Peter McVerry Trust’s work with young homeless people.
