Over the coming months,a number of the hospitals former patients will tell us the story behind their illness, how they were treated in Beaumont and how they coped with ill health. In addition, one of their loved ones will also tell us how they coped with the situation and the thoughts and emotions they experienced. On Mondays show we spoke to Siobhain Whyte and George spoke to her boyfriend mark Haville. Siobhain was diagnosed with a tumor on her spine and underwent surgery in Beaumont to have the tumor removed. Today we hear her story and her boyfriend mark told George how he coped with Siobhain facing major surgery.
