Conor Goodman, Features Editor of the Irish Times, talks to Noel McGuinness on Northside2Day about a competition to find the best place to live in Ireland. He says this idea came about as opposition to the gloom and negativity that’s out there. The best place to live could be a town, a city, a suburb, a tiny village, a remote rural spot, a street, a road or a housing estate – in fact any place that you feel very fortunate to live in. The reasons could be the sense of community, the parks and playgrounds, the schools, the great local facilities, the scenery – or something else entirely. Conor explains how you can enter and all about the competition.
