Founded in 1951 by two Irish Army Officers, the National Organisation of Ex-Service Personnel (O.N.E.) offers support to all Irish Army veterans throughout Ireland through four main pillars, – Support, Camraderie, Advocacy and Remembrance of both living and deceased veterans.
Their motto  is ‘No Irish Veteran Left Behind.’
After a severe winter of 1989, three veterans died on the streets of Dublin.
Six members of O.N.E. re-mortgaged their homes to help invest in accomodation for homeless ex-service personnel. Today, O.N.E. have a Home Expansion Plan to house veterans that suffer from homelessness.
Paul Clarke is the Marketing and Fund Raising Officer for O.N.E.
Kevin Martin helps run a Veterans Support Centre in McKee Barracks on Black Horse Avenue that organises social events and outings to various Army Centres nationwide.
