Tommy Cooke, a 70-year-old from Blanchardstown, spent over 18 months on a waiting list for hip surgery before seeking an alternative route through Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast. He underwent surgery and was back home within 24 hours, making a full and active recovery in the weeks that followed. In this interview with Ger Leddin, Tommy speaks about the procedure he had.
