Youth Photo Exhibition

Jammie is interviewing special guests and exhibitors at the Exchange Gallery in Dublin’s Temple Bar.

Exhibition of photography by young people

A diverse exhibition of photos and images produced by young people was opened at the
Exchange Gallery in Dublin’s Temple Bar on Friday, 26th November. The exhibition is the
result of a nationwide project undertaken by young people involved with Youth Advocate
Programmes Ireland (YAP)
. Each young person who participated was encouraged to create
an original image around a series of themes that include community and self portraiture.

The resulting exhibition of insightful and perceptive images reflects the individuality of
the young people who contributed to the show and provides a glimpse into how they see
themselves and their community. The opening night will be attended by young people, their
families, representatives from YAP and special guests.

Location:

At the Exchange Collective Arts Centre, which is located at Exchange Street Upper, Temple
Bar, Dublin 2

When:

The exhibition will remain on display open to the public from 26/11/2010 – 05/12/2010
