Sixteen Layers on Noel s Northside Today Sessions

Born of the ashes of well known Dublin band Alligator, Sixteen Layers have been recording and touring since 2007. With debut album I Am No One released in 2009, SL toured UK and N America incl. New York, Boston and Ontario, Canada.
2011 was publicly a quiet year for the boys but behind the scenes has been a very different story. There’s been personnel change and a lot of writing for their new album. With new guitarist Esa Taponen from Helsinki on board Sixteen Layers performed for the first time in nearly a year to a capacity Mercantile crowd in Dublin. The future looks good!
