Lifeline programme presenter John Connell spoke to Dermot King, about the launch of the newly named organisation, BRACE Community Response in Ballymun.
This month, the community organisation, formerly known as Ballymun Youth Action Project changed it’s name to BRACE Community Response.
NearFM’s John Connell went to the Official Launch of it’s new name and spoke to Dermot King, the Manager of BRACE Community Response, about the change of name of the 41 years old organisation and the range of services they provide to people recovering from substance use.
The new name BRACE is an acronym meaning Ballymun, Recovery, Addiction, Community, Education.
