SUAS Educational Development

SUAS supports high quality education in under resourced communities both in Ireland and overseas.  Sam Whelan Curtin talks to Noel McGuinness about current projects, including the SUAS Mentoring Programme which recently launched an exciting new pilot project, the Intensive Literacy Support Programme, at St. Joseph’s Primary School in East Wall.  With regard to fundraising, Sam talks about their “Shamrocks for Schools” project which involves volunteering a minimum of 3 hours of your time to paint shamrocks on people’s faces on St. Patrick’s Day.  He reminds us that by raising even a small amount of money it can make a huge difference for children in such countries as India or Kenya.
