Born and reared in Santry, Steve Denehan now lives in the Kildare countryside. Steve talks to John Connell about his latest publication of poetry, titled Taillights Disappearing.
Steve describes how he approaches writing poetry. Some of Steve’s poems are like snapshots from a recent experience in his life while others lean into a memory from the past.
Steven reads out loud three of his poems from this recent book, One Night In Dublin City (p47) Flittering (p87) and Hold My Calls (p 127).
