Join John Connell as he chats to Jacinta O’Reilly, an artist whose work has been exhibited in public libraries, hospitals and hospices, which she calls her ‘mobile studio’. Having the opportunity to hang her abstracts paintings in an exhibition space helps Jacinta view her body of work from a new perspective.
Jacinta lived in Sydney, Australia for 17 years and found inspiration from Aboriginal art; Islamic Art’s geometric composition has also influenced her. Jacinta’s artwork radiates colour and has an effect of positive wellbeing.
Her current art exhibition for February is in the Art Centre at Captains Hill, Leixlip.
