On December 10th 2023, the Office for Climate Education (OCE), the Ministry of Education of United Arab Emirates and Alef Education are hosting the TeachersCOP, in a hybrid format live from Dubaï.

As part of the Educator’s Voice, this international event aims to highlight to global politicians and decision-makers at COP28, the work of teachers, the challenges they face and the key role they play in the global climate response.

During this event, teachers from around the world will be able to discover and choose their favorite climate change education project presented to policy and education stakeholders at the Greening Education Pavillion in the heart of COP28 in United Arab Emirates.

Paula Galvin from Dublin will be taking part in the event with her project “Poetry for Climate Justice and Climate Action” which she coordinated with her former students in Clonburris National School in Clondalkin.
