Blossom Ireland

Blossom Ireland is a locally run charity offering respite services to children with intellectual disabilities.  Auveen Bell one of the founders of Blossom Ireland tells Noel McGuinness that their aim is to help towards filling the gap between the available public services and the actual needs of children with intellectual disabilities and their families by providing safe, secure and stimulating activities during school holidays.  They  provide dedicated, therapy-led summer camps for these children who are aged between 8 and 12 years.  Listen to this podcast to hear more about Blossom Ireland and how you can volunteer to help in their work and perhaps even contribute to their fundraising by running in the Mini Marathon.
