On this edition of Lifeline:

Dr Alicia Mateos, Postdoctoral Researcher at UCC joins Myra Gleeson to talk about her research into microplastics. Her research found that microplastics are not just being ingested by marine life but is  being broken down by small crustaceans into nanoplastics which can potentially be more dangerous to wildlife.
