Declan Ralph talks to Professor Jane Ohlmeyer and Dr. Elspeth Payne from the Trinity Long Room Hub about a new series of Zoominars entitled ‘Rethinking Democracy in an age of pandemic’. The series is a collaboration between Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute and the Society of Fellows and Heyman Center for the Humanities at Columbia University. The series run every wednesday at 4.30pm from the 29 April until 27 May 2020. The zoominars will take the form of a panel discussion with two speakers and a moderator. Featured speakers include Vincent Schiraldi (Columbia University), Sarah Stillman (Columbia University), Colm Tóibín (Columbia University) Fintan O’toole (Irish Times) and Rita Duffy (Trinity Long Room Hub Artist in Residence).
