In 1954, Donal Webb was just five years old, but he still remembers vividly his first day at the seaside. They went on an old steam train to Seapoint and ate a picnic he’ll never forget! Frances Elliott recalls the parties, sing-songs and hooleys she and her family used to have – particularly in her granny’s house. She lived in Dublin City, just beside the St Frances Xavier Hall (or SFX as it became known).
