8th Eastern Bay International Ice Mile Swim 2020

Fergal Somerville, local resident, member of the Ice Swimming Hall of Fame and the Ireland Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame, talks to Noel McGuinness about this year’s Invitational International Ice Mile Swim organised by the Eastern Bay Swim Team. This year the event will take place in Clontarf Baths on Saturday 1st February starting at 10am sharp. This will be the biggest ever ice mile swim event in the world with 20+ winter swimming athletes taking part. Ice swimming is an extreme sport and only top swimmers are invited to this event.
