On the show Patrick Donohue was joined by Kieran McCarthy author of a new book on the extraordinary story of the Skibbereen Rowing club entitled Something in the Water.

Kieran tells how the club from humble beginnings has risen to become Ireland’s most successful rowing club. The club is now home to the Donovan brothers, several other Olympians as well as World European and National champions.

Kieran will tell us about what makes this club so unique and special.
