Maura Walsh chats to Conor Clear ahead of his performance in Grimm’s fairy tale classic – ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs’ at Grange Woodbine, Raheny from 19th December to 4th January
Conor chats about the unique history of pantomime, panto production, his career and how he became involved in panto. He tells us about two pioneering ladies, Maureen Gilligan and Helen Prendeville who brought theatre to the Northside of Dublin and introduced Pantomime to the community. Maureen’s son Sean, and Helen’s daughter Cathy is now honoring their mother’s legacies by bringing panto home to where it was born in the Grange Woodbine.
Dublin Panto has been North Dublin’s favorite panto since 2011. Sean Gilligan Productions has over 20 years of experience in the arts and entertainment and encourages local talent some of whom have gone on to follow careers in the West End and beyond.
He says ‘it’s time to Bring Panto Home with the glitziest, most outrageously funny and inclusive panto yet!’
