Grace Wilentz talks to Noel McGuinness about her love of poetry and her book of poems “Holding Distance” which was launched in Dublin on 30th October 2019. “Holding Distance” is published by Green Bottle Press. Grace’s poems have appeared in Irish, British and American journals including Poetry Ireland Review, Cyphers, The Seneca Review, The American Poetry Journal, Magma, The Harvard Advocate, and The Irish Times. She has received fellowships and support from the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, NES Artists Residency in Iceland, and she is a recent recipient of the literature bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland / An Chomhairle Ealaíon. Grace has taught creative writing at University College Dublin and in diverse community settings. Born in Greenwich Village, New York City, she now lives in Dublin, Ireland.
