Women for Change Learning and Knowledge Exchange Event: with Louise Lovett and Tara Farrell

Louise Lovett – Board member of the National Womens Council of Ireland. Louise is the CEO of Longford Women’s Link (LWL), a substantial rural women’s NGO that advocates on the issues that impact women and their families. Louise was recognised for her work by being awarded the Image Magazine Social Entrepreneur Business Woman of the Year 2017.

Together with Tara Farrell is the Deputy CEO of Longford Womens Link. Tara has over 17 years’ experience in the Community & Voluntary and Education sectors, working in a variety of areas including Conflict Resolution, Project Management, Social Economy, Gender Equality and Broadcast/Social Media. She holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law and has also lectured in Political Science in UL and Management Development at DCU. Tara is the Chairperson of Roscommon Women’s Network and AONTAS.
